We have a wide variety of tapas , all made with the best ingriedients , fresh from the islands. São Jorge is known for its dairy products, particularly its cheese. The island is home to a number of small cheese-making operations that produce a variety of delicious cheeses using milk from cows that graze on the island's lush pastures. Besides our cheese plate we also have a regional platter , mixed and also great fish tapas.

Lapas

Fish is a key component of the Azorean cuisine, with the islands' location in the Atlantic Ocean providing access to a wide variety of fresh seafood. One type of seafood that is commonly found in the Azores is lapas, also known as limpet. Lapas are small, snail-like shellfish that are typically found on rocks in the intertidal zone.
